We often see several issues when the touch screen fails. Delamination, or a bubble glue leaking appearance is the most common. We also see associated touch response problems like unresponsive is some or all areas, erratic random jumping around touch. Also- sometimes the backlight burns out and leaves the screen dark or dim. Our screen replacement fixes all of these.

We are only replacing the LCD/Touch screen/backlight assembly. The expensive, obsolete circuit boards and hosuing are reused as there is nothing wrong with them, and no reason to replace. This gives you a better solution at a fraction of the cost.
No. Simply plug in your unit and everything works. We are only replacing the LCD and touch panel, and in some cases the backlight. As a result, everything remains the same internally with your software. Think of it like replacing your monitor in your home computer.

We provide a 1 year warranty as standard with our replacement panels whether its a mail in service or DIY option. There is an optional 3 year warranty available at checkout. Our refurbished display units come with a 2 year warranty
The OEM factory used a liquid glue that tends to delaminate over time. Exposure to sun and heat tends to accelerate the delamination. This was a common design used during this period. We can install the new improved screen design to restore your unit at about 30% of the cost of a new unit.
We find that these display units last between 2 and 12 years, depending on how it was manufactured and the conditions it was stored in. This is usually outside of manufacturer warranty.
Yes- typically the longer lasting screens are from northern mild climates. UV and humidity will cause the OEM screen to delaminate faster. We usually see 2-5 years of life on the factory units in hot sunny climates, and 5-10+ in mild cold climates.
